Unibox supports rich media in conversations. You can send and receive voice messages, share images, and view media that leads send to you.
Voice Messages
Sending Voice Messages
- Open a conversation in Unibox
- Click the mic icon in the compose toolbar
- Recording starts automatically
- Click Send when finished, or Cancel to discard
Voice messages have a maximum duration of 60 seconds.
Playback
Voice messages display as an inline player with:
- Play/pause button
- Waveform visualization
- Seek bar (click to jump to any position)
- Duration display
Only one voice message plays at a time. Starting playback on one message automatically pauses any other.
Received Voice Messages
When a lead sends a voice message, it appears in the conversation with the same player interface. Audio is captured and stored so it persists across sessions.
If audio capture fails for a received message, a duration indicator is shown instead of the full player.
Image Attachments
Image attachments are available on the Momentum plan and above.
Sending Images
- Click the image button in the compose toolbar
- Choose from:
- Upload new image - opens a file picker
- Recent uploads - select from previously uploaded images
- Stage one or more images (thumbnails appear above the compose box)
- Optionally type a text message to accompany the images
- Press Enter or click send
You can also drag and drop images directly into the conversation to stage them.
Supported Formats

Images are automatically optimized before storage.
Image Display
Images in the conversation thread adapt to the number sent:

| 4+ | 2x2 grid with "+N" overlay |
Click any image to open it in a full-size lightbox. Navigate between images with arrow keys, or click the dots below.
Received Images
Images sent by leads are captured and displayed inline in the conversation. Click to open in the lightbox. Images are stored permanently so they don't disappear over time.
Link Previews
When a lead shares a link, Unibox renders a rich preview card showing:
- Page title
- Source domain
- Thumbnail image (if available)
Click the card to open the link in a new tab.
Reactions
If a lead sends a thumbs up (like) in the conversation, it appears as a like indicator in the thread. Sending reactions from Unibox is not currently supported.
