General
What is MessengerFlow?
MessengerFlow is a platform for automating Facebook Messenger outreach campaigns. It helps businesses send personalized messages at scale while managing multiple accounts and tracking performance.
Is MessengerFlow safe to use?
MessengerFlow includes safety features like rate limiting, ramp-up modes, and scheduling controls. However, automated messaging carries inherent risks. Following best practices minimizes these risks.
Do I need aged Facebook accounts?
Yes. New accounts have strict limits and are quickly suspended. Aged accounts (6+ months old with activity history) perform significantly better.
Accounts
How many accounts can I add?
All plans include unlimited Facebook accounts. Your subscription limits the number of active campaigns and accounts per campaign instead. See Plans & Pricing for details.
Can I use my personal Facebook account?
Yes, but proceed with caution. ID-verified personal accounts are less likely to be restricted, but using them for automation carries risk.
What happens if my account gets banned?
Remove the banned account from MessengerFlow. Do not try to recover automated accounts. Review your practices and adjust settings for remaining accounts.
Do I need one proxy per account?
Yes. Each account should have a dedicated residential proxy. Sharing proxies between accounts increases detection risk.
Campaigns
How many messages should I send per day?
Recommended limits:
- New accounts: 5-10 per day
- Aged accounts: 20-30 per day
- Established accounts: 30-40 per day
- Never exceed 35 for non-verified accounts
Can I edit a campaign after creating it?
Yes, you can edit most settings including messages, schedule, ramp-up, and follow-ups. You can also add or remove accounts after creation. The only thing you cannot change is the lead collection.
What is ramp-up?
Ramp-up gradually increases sending volume over time. This mimics natural usage patterns and reduces account risk.
How do I create message variations?
Use spintax: {option1|option2|option3}. You can also add up to 5 complete message variants in campaign settings.
Leads
Where do leads come from?
Three sources:
- Page scraping (from Facebook pages)
- Group scraping (from Facebook groups)
- Manual import (your own data)
How many leads can I import?
Up to 100,000 leads per import collection. Total collections depend on your plan.
Can the same lead be in multiple campaigns?
Yes. The same lead can be in multiple collections and campaigns.
Unibox
What is Unibox?
Unibox is the unified inbox that shows all conversations from all your Facebook accounts in one place.
Can I reply to leads from Unibox?
Yes. You can send replies directly from Unibox without logging into Facebook.
What does "Booked" mean?
Booked marks a conversation as converted - when a lead schedules a call, makes a purchase, or completes your desired action.
Billing
Is there a free trial?
Yes. The Ignition plan includes a 7-day free trial. Credit card required.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from Settings > Billing. Access continues until the end of your billing period.
What payment methods are accepted?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay), and various regional payment methods through Stripe. Available methods depend on your location.
Can I get a refund?
Contact support for refund requests. Evaluated case-by-case.
Technical
Why are my messages not sending?
Check: campaign status, active hours, timezone, active days, account status, and daily limits. See Campaign Issues for details.
Why is my account showing ERROR?
Common causes: invalid credentials, wrong 2FA secret, incorrect language/region settings. See Account Issues for solutions.
How do webhooks work?
Webhooks send signed HTTP notifications to your server when events occur (new reply, message sent, campaign completed, etc.). Configure endpoints in Settings > Developers > Webhooks. See Webhooks for setup instructions.
What are the campaign and account limits per plan?
See Plans & Pricing for current limits on campaigns, accounts per campaign, and imports. All plans include unlimited Facebook accounts.
