AI Demographics

Learn how to filter scraped leads by country using AI-powered name analysis.

AI Demographics

AI demographic filtering is available on the Apex plan.

AI Demographics uses name analysis to estimate each lead's likely country of origin. This lets you filter group collections by geography before you start a campaign, so you only message leads in your target markets.

How It Works

When you create or re-scrape a group collection with country filters enabled:

  1. Each scraped member's name is analyzed by AI
  2. The system predicts the most likely countries of origin
  3. Members whose predicted countries don't match your filter are excluded
  4. Only matching leads are saved to the collection

Filtering happens during the scraping pass, so excluded leads are never stored.

Setting Up Country Filters

  1. Navigate to Leads
  2. Click New Collection > From Group
  3. Fill in the group ID, account, and max leads
  4. In the Country Filter section (marked with an AI badge), select one or more target countries
  5. Click Create

Leave the country filter empty to include all members regardless of location.

Supported Collection Types

Import collectionsNot supported

AI demographics only works with group collections. Page collections use location-based search criteria instead, and import collections contain data you provide directly.

Accuracy

The system estimates country of origin from names, which works well for names with strong geographic patterns but is less reliable for common international names. For best results:

  • Select multiple related countries if your target market spans a region
  • Review collection results after scraping to spot-check quality
  • Combine country filtering with a reasonable max lead count

Re-scraping with Filters

You can apply or change country filters when re-scraping an existing group collection:

  1. Open the collection
  2. Click Re-scrape
  3. Adjust the country filter
  4. Start the scrape

The collection is rebuilt with the new filter criteria.
